Click the link in your email or Go to https://aka.ms/MFASetup

Login to your Office 365 Account

Under the Additional Security Verification – Enter your cell phone number and select text message

Click Next

Enter the 6 Digit Pin you received from Microsoft and Click Verify

If given a secondary password, write this down and keep it somewhere safe. This would be used with apps that don’t support MFA directly and used in place of your main password.

If given the option to add Additional Security Options, you can add an additional cell phone number or use an Authenticator App (if used for other apps). If you are good with your main cell number, you can click cancel and close the window.
